Nnamdi Kanu, the beleaguered leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has accused the federal government of circulating false information about the group’s alleged ban in the United Kingdom.
The charges were made by Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the IPOB leader’s younger brother, in response to a declaration by the presidency regarding the alleged labeling of IPOB as a terror organisation by the United Kingdom, UK.
Garba Shehu, the presidential spokesperson, hailed the UK for designating the organisation as a terrorist organization while simultaneously requesting that the group’s assets be taken.

The British High Commission in Abuja issued a statement on Saturday disputing reports that it has sanctioned IPOB.
Emmanuel warned the president’s social media managers against spreading fake news, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
He believes it demonstrates the government’s attitude toward Biafra.
He speculated that the president may be unaware of his media advisers’ overzealousness in issuing press announcements without permission.
