Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has apologized unequivocally to the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) for making an unflattering comment against Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This comes after the NBA called Umahi’s remark a “national humiliation.”
Recall that on Tuesday, Dave Umahi termed Justice Inyang Ekwo’s removal from office as “a hatchet” man’s job.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Umahi apologized while speaking to over two thousand members of the governing All Progressive Congress, APC, at a solidarity rally held at the Udensi roundabout in Ebonyi State.
He also noted that he has mobilized over seventeen (17) SANs to Appeal the judgement of the Federal High court sitting in Abuja led by justice Inyang Ekwo, wherein he was sacked for defecting from the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the APC.
