Kenneth Okonkwo, the spokesperson for the Labour Party Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Committee, has praised the Yorubas for their roles in the obidient movement that generated political waves in Nigeria’s 2023 general elections.
On Saturday, the actor/politician stated that obidients would not have achieved their accomplishment without the help of the Yoruba people.
He also lauded the contributions of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation Afenifere and former Nigerian President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Taking to his Twitter account, Okonkwo wrote: “From the available evidence we have seen, @PeterObi won the election – Afenifere.
“INEC collected blood money to rig 2023 presidential election – President Obasanjo.
“I am proud of my Yoruba brothers and sisters. Obidients wouldn’t have recorded the success they did without them.”
Obidients are supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate.
