Brigadier-General Ahmed expressed confidence that many Corps members would willingly decide to stay in their assigned states after serving their time, adding that this directive is in line with NYSC’s mission to promote cultural exchange, foster national integration among Corps members, and contribute to the nation’s overall development.
He stated, “I urge you to respect the culture & traditions of your host community.”
“Remain peaceful and resilient as you add value to the community you’re posted to. I’m sure many of you will choose to remain here after your service,” he added.
