Security personnel have been warned that after the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) bombed hia camps in the Zamfara forest, Bello Turji’s gangs may launch retaliatory strikes on the Gusau-Sokoto-Zaria highways.
According to a source who asked to remain anonymous for security concerns, the gangs may launch retaliatory strikes in retaliation for the killing of numerous bandits in the forest.
“Please be careful, bandits are currently in the general area of Tureta, Anka axis. Just rustled hundreds of cows from Birisawa village heading towards Mallanji village in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State”, the source said.

The source added that commuters along the Sokoto-Gusau-Tsafe-Funtua road should stay away from such locations for the time being.
Remember how two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets recently assaulted Turji camps and killed a large number of bandits in the Zamfara forest?
The military and police agents, on the other hand, have sworn to confront the bandits in a fire for fire operation and have stated their readiness to carry the war to the criminals’ hideouts in the forests.
Mr. Kolo Yusuf, the state’s commissioner of police, recently informed reporters at a press conference that he had not come to Zamfara State to play but rather to demonstrate his authority and professionalism to the bandits.
