The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its zonal congresses till March 26, 2022.
Ismaeel Ahmed, the temporary spokesman of the Caretaker Committee and an APC Youth Leader, said this during a media conference in Abuja on Friday.
The zonal congresses will take place on the same day as the national convention, according to Ahmed, who also stated that preparations for the main conference’s success are well underway.

He also stated that the list of sub-committees for the party’s national convention was lowered since the previous one was unneeded, which he claimed would reduce their efficiency.
“35 APC and FCT state chairmen were sworn in and tasked to strive towards guaranteeing peace and harmony in their states,” he added.
They were also tasked with mobilizing the party’s members and supporters in order to win future elections.
“The CECPC reviewed and discussed the report of the zoning committee.
The study was adopted after extensive deliberation, and the zoning formula was made public.
