In light of the catastrophic economic crisis the UK is experiencing, British Conservative Rishi Sunak has been elected prime minister, succeeding Liz Truss.
According to an earlier article by Anaedoonline.ng, Sir Graham Brady announced the most recent development after the 1922 Committee received just one candidacy for the position of new party leader and got support from 100 MPs.
Sunak was thus proclaimed by Brady to be the new party leader and, as a result, the new prime minister.
