Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Expands Operation Secure Anambra South To Remaining 6 LGAs
President Tinubu in his message of condolence revealed how huge the death of Ifeanyi Ubah is to the country. While commiserating with the friends and colleagues of the late Senator, the National Assembly, the government and people of Anambra State over the sad loss, the President prayed God to give the bereaved family strength and comfort his wife, children and siblings.
Mr. Peter Obi in his message on X(former Twitter) said that Ubah’s death was shocking and devastating. Some part of his message reads; “I received a rude shock, this morning, the news of the death of my dear younger brother, and Senator Representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
“We were all together on July 12, at the burial of Chief Pius Onwuzo in Nnewi, Anambra State. Senator Ubah personally welcomed me at the burial and requested that I visit his house for lunch, to which I pleaded with him to reschedule to another date, as I already had several engagements for the day.

“I pray God Almighty to grant his family, the entire Anambra South Senatorial District; Anambra State; Nigeria; and all of us, the fortitude to bear his sad irreplaceable loss.” he concluded.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the former Governor of Abia State in his reaction equally described Ubah’s death as a huge shock and loss to Nigeria as a whole. Saluting the worthy legacies of the late businessman, Kalu admonished family members, friends and associates of the deceased to sustain his good deeds, noting that the late senator contributed immensely to the economic, social and political development of Nigeria.
His message reads in parts; “My heart goes out to Ubah’s family, Ndi Nnewi, Anambra South constituents, the good people of Anambra State, the government of Anambra state and my colleagues in the Senate for the loss of our dearest friend and brother, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. It’s a lot to deal with the shock of the news and pain of the loss. His death is a very big loss to Nigeria.
“The deceased played various roles in nation building as a businessman, philanthropist, politician and publisher. The late senator was dogged, ebullient, humble, consistent and full of energy.

The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, in his condolence message said: “Senator Ifeanyi Uba was a dedicated and passionate legislator whose contributions have left an indelible mark on our nation. His commitment to his constituents and his work in the Senate were exemplary. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.”
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu also reacted to Ubah’s death by referring to it as “shocking and a great loss to the country, his home State of Anambra and Lagos, where he deceased established most of his businesses.”
In the same vein, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, expressed his “deep shock and grief” over Ubah’s passing and praised him as a dynamic politician and businessman. “It comes as a sorely regrettable loss to Anambra South and Anambra State as a whole, at this difficult time that Ndigbo and Nigeria just lost another patriot in Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu,” said Soludo in his condolence message.
He went on to say that Ubah was a prominent son of Anambra State and a remarkable Nigerian with a big influence on business and the people.
Some part of his message reads; “As the representative of Anambra South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, and the CEO of Capital Oil, his contributions to the development of Anambra State and Nigeria were also quite commendable. Besides, Senator Uba was a magnanimous philanthropist whose generosity touched countless lives as an employer of labour and a businessman of remarkable vision and acumen,” Soludo revealed.

All these testaments can only testify to the person of Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. Nnewi, the town he came from was a grave yard on the news of his demise.
