The country’s rising rate of corruption, according to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), may be stopped if all parties involved in the fight against corruption work together.
EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede stressed the significance of reviving efforts to battle all forms of economic and financial crimes in his Eid-El-Kabir address. He emphasised that eliminating this ubiquitous threat requires a coordinated and unwavering effort.
Olukoyede’s message reinforces the notion that corruption can be defeated via concerted and persistent action by highlighting the Commission’s resolve to stepping up its campaign against corruption and urging all facets of society to join the fight.

“It is obvious that we can attain peace, love, progress and unity of purpose for a Nigeria free of corruption and unsavoury practices.
“Let’s keep building. Let’s keep attacking every threat to our progress. Let’s keep fighting economic and financial crimes together,” he said.
Olukoyede declared that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with Nigeria and that Nigerians are not innately corrupt.
In his greetings to the country on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir, the head of the anti-graft agency emphasised that the lessons learned from the festival should motivate even more dedication to the battle against corruption.
“The lessons of forbearance, sacrifice, faith and hope in Almighty Allah which Eid teaches should imbue in us fresh desire to please God and serve our nation without corrupt practices.
“We should renew our efforts towards fighting all forms of economic and financial crimes,” he said.
