In a groundbreaking achievement for the automotive industry, over 1,500 individuals celebrated their graduation from the prestigious Innoson Kiara Academy (IKA) on December 16th. The academy, located at Innoson Industrial Estate, Umudim Nnewi, Anambra State, marked the completion of a comprehensive one-year apprenticeship program, the work package 4 of IVM-BOSCH project.
The Innoson Kiara Academy collaborated with German auto giant BOSCH, German cooperation, DEG/develoPPP.de to provide state-of-the-art training. Trainees gained expertise in advanced automotive tools, setting the stage for their future roles as industry leaders.
The graduation ceremony witnessed impactful speeches from key figures, including the Chairman of Innoson Kiara Academy, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, who emphasized the values of honesty and excellence in business. The industrialist expressed his commitment to providing job opportunities for these graduates, emphasizing that the skills acquired can lead to greatness.

Endi Ezengwa, CEO of Innoson Kiara Academy, urged the trainees to embrace the spirit of innovation and enterprise, highlighting that the training is designed to enhance their effectiveness in the field. “It’s not just about jobs; it’s about becoming catalysts for positive change” he said.
Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, underscored the significance of this training in human capital development and boosting the local economy through manufacturing. He commended Innoson Kiara Academy for their efforts, encouraging the graduates to contribute to the prosperity of society.
