In the foyer of the National Assembly Complex’s White House wing, the casket containing the late Anambra South Senator’s body is presently lying in state.
“That the Senate do now pay tributes in honour of late Senator Ubah, Patrick Ifeanyi (Anambra South) (3rd September 1971 – 26th July 2024)” is the motion that Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, APC-Ekiti Central, would make at the start of session.

Leaders from Anambra and other Southeast states, as well as the deceased’s close friends and family, are already in the Senate, waiting for the plenary to begin.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Senator Ubah died in London on July 27, 2024, at the age of 52.
