It is said that veteran vocalist Onyeka Onwenu has passed away.
She was seventy-two.
According to reports, Onyeka Onwenu passed out after performing at Mrs. Stella Okoli’s birthday celebration—the managing director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

She reportedly died after being taken to Reddington Hospital in Lagos.
Her family hasn’t yet made the news of her passing, though.
