During the one-year anniversary celebration and project commissioning at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) permanent Site, Akammili, Chief Medical Director (CMD) Prof. Joseph Ugboaja passionately appealed to the Minister for Health and Welfare, Hon. Muhammad Ali Pate, for more human resources to support the hospital’s new permanent site.
Prof. Ugboaja, in his address, highlighted the strides the hospital has made over the past year, including the completion of several key projects aimed at enhancing patient care and expanding the hospital’s capacity.
“Our new permanent site stands as a testament to our commitment to providing top-notch healthcare services to the people of this region,” Prof. Ugboaja stated. “However, the successful operation of this facility hinges on having an adequate number of skilled healthcare professionals. We are in dire need of more doctors, nurses, and support staff to meet the growing demands of our patient population.”
