Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has revealed to men of God who predicted that Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi would be the next president of Nigeria why their vision did not come true.
Speaking on Saturday, Keyamo stated that God chose Peter Obi to run for president in 2023 for a reason.
According to the APC stalwart, the LP flag bearer was merely a means to an end.
God, he claims, raised Obi so that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, would win the election.

Keyamo remarked in a tweet that men of God who had visions about Obi’s administration missed the second part of the prophecy.
In a tweet, Keyamo wrote: “Indeed, God Almighty raised Peter Obi for a purpose: that purpose was to make @officialABAT President.
“Peter Obi was the means to an end, but not the end itself. Many Men of God, with the greatest respect to them, obviously missed this part of the visions that they saw about 2023.”
Obi finished third, after Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Tinubu, the ultimate winner of the 2023 presidential election.
