Ndozi Odinala group visits Obi Uruagu Nnewi

A cultural-based organization called Ndozi Odinala Igbo which focuses on cultural renaissance, community development, youth empowerment, education, health and others have visited the Obi of Uruagu His Royal Highness Obi Afamefuna Obi (Ogidi IV).

The group represented by Ozigbu Nwa Mmuo visited the Obi of Uruagu to intimate him about the opening of their Igbo Heritage Center located at Umumeagbu Uruagu Nnewi.

Speaking to the Obi, Ezigbu Nwa Mmuo said that Ndozi Odinala is focused on restoring the consciousness of Ndi Igbo of their culture and tradition. He emphasized the need for Nnewi to key into the programmes of the organization. He added that it is the responsibility of every right-thinking Igbo to uphold and defend the classical ways of the Igbo people, which at this point needs redemption; the reason why they are standing firm, even in the face of mockery and in the face of oppositions.

His Highness Obi Nnamdi Obi welcome them and encouraged them to continue in the movement which will be instrumental in help in restoring the Igbo heritage.
