The 11th Edition of the Africa Women Cup of Nations draw for the final tournament held today at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, where the eight teams were drawn into two groups of four teams. The host Ghana is positioned in group A, while the defending Champions Nigeria are seated in group B.
The remaining six teams are positioned based on the last three editions of the Africa Women Cup of Nations, and drawn to any of the remaining three positions in each group.
This tournament will be hosted in two cities in Ghana (Accra and Cape Coast)

Each team is to play three(3) matches to qualify from the group stage.
The top two teams of each group advances to the semi finals. Which would be played on the 27 November at Cape Coast Sports Stadium, Cape Coast by 3:30pm while the second semifinalist kicks off later by 6pm.
Third place match scheduled for 30th November 2018 while the final match of the tournament will be played on 1st December 2018.
