A lot of unspecified feelings of anger and raging criticisms have greeted the manner in which the Senior Women National team, the Super Falcons left Nigeria for Abidjan yesterday on ordinary wear (mufti) instead of the National team attire.

Some sports lovers and Journalists have taken on their Twitter handles to express their grieve.

@FisayoDairo took to his twitter handle and wrote
“So, Nigeria’s Super Falcons left Lagos for Abidjan to prepare for the #AWCON2018 dressing like some omo-ita.
It is ridiculous, to say the least, and I penned this down 👇on what it tells us.

Another fan of the team @ColinUdoh tweeted this “How can our @NGSuper_Falcons be made to travel like this? Unacceptable
#RespectOurSuperFalcons”

Sports Journo @RandaAndrew on his Twitter handle said “What does it take to respect these ladies? Totally unfair.
How can you allow them to travel this way?
#RespectOurSuperFalcons”

With all this and rumours that even the Super Eagles are lacking training materials Especially kits, makes one wonder what happened to the NIKE deal announced by the NFF as the official kitting company.
