NONSO OKAFOR, 29 OTHERS RECEIVE CERTIFICATE OF RETURN FROM INEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission has presented certificates of return to candidates who emerged victorious in the Anambra State House of Assembly Elections which held across the State Constituencies.

The event which took place at the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) State office saw Member-Elect of different State Constituencies in Anambra State collect their certificates from officials of the electoral body.

Presenting the certificates, the Independent National Electoral Commissioner for Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States, Mr Festus Okoye congratulated the House of Assembly members-elect on their election victory and urged them to make their constituents proud by ensuring the passage of relevant laws.

He frowned at the attitude of some politicians who are always trying to scuttle the process by attempting to bribe Electoral officers and also trying to subvert the process by bringing thuggery.
He advised politicians to always follow the provisions of the Electoral Act in ensuring a free and fair process.
