The city of Owerri was lit over the weekend as the creme de la creme of Nnewi and Owerri shut down Imo State to celebrate the 50th birthday of Ojichukwu Nnewi.

Chief Emenike who turned 50 last week, celebrated with family, friends, and well-wishers over the weekend at the Jesus Christ Never fails Arena, Port Harcourt road, Owerri, Imo State. The birthday party which was packaged and organized by Damas Event started at about 10:00 pm on the 27th of July and lasted till 3:00 am on the 28th July 2019.

The event was attended by many friends and business associates from Anambra and Imo state.
His friends who were present had many amazing things to say about him, the
CEO of Visa Petroleum Resources and Nduchris Motors Nig. Ltd, Chief Ndubueze Ezeokoli referred to him as a “good man” who has many great qualities. He went ahead to wish him many more years. Hon. Sir Austin Chukwuka, former member, Federal House of Representatives, representing Ideato North and South constituency, described Emenike as a “positively shy” person who believes in God”, he also said he is ”supportive and very accommodating”.
The Executive Director at Chicason Group, Engr. Sir Linus Ilozue, referred to Chika Emenike as a “special breed and an inspiring young man”. He said, “Emenike has proven that faith in God is rewarded.”

Mr Agupson Alphonsus Obidire, MD Agupson, and sons Nig. LTD said Emenike is not just a business partner but also a friend. “He is a wealthy man with a good heart, everything you have heard about him today is true”, he said.

So many people said many good things about the celebrant but one thing that was constantly reiterated is his Faith in God. Chief Emenike has been described as a core Catholic, a man of faith, a God-lover, by his friends.

Other personalities who were present at the event include; Barr. Oselokah Osigwe, the President General of Nzukora Nnewi, Chief Ugochukwu Udemezue, Sunday Ezeobiora, CEO Sunny Vespa and Sunchi Farms, Ogoochukwu Emenike, Obinna Okechukwu, Honorable Nonso Okafor and his wife, Member, Nnewi North Constituency, in ANSHA, NASPA Chairman, High Chief Obiekwe Nnajiofor(Ozo Chinemeze) and his wife Nkeiruka Nnajiofor.

The entire Emenikes were present to celebrate with their brother, father, husband, and son. His children gave a music rendition to thank their father for all his love towards them. While speaking to Anaedoonline.com, one of his sons, Kosisochukwu, said he is happy to see all who came out to celebrate with his father. He also said he feels excited to know he can relate with his father as a friend.

The celebrant, Chief Emenike on his own part, thanked everyone for coming out to celebrate with him even though the rain almost messed up everything. He said 50 years is not easy but he is grateful to God for how far he has come. He said he is a blessed man, “everyone who is around me is a blessing, my wife, my kids, my entire family, and everybody I work with. We thank God for 50 and we hope to celebrate more years together”.
