A Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has issued an order for the late singer Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, to be informed about a pending DNA test application through alternative means.
According to a statement from Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal team representing the Aloba family, this decision was made on Wednesday, April 17.
Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, submitted an application seeking permission to serve Wunmi through posting all legal documents related to the DNA test application at her last-known address. Despite previous attempts by the sheriff to serve her, they were unsuccessful.
The court granted the request, stipulating that serving Wunmi at her last-known address would suffice as proper notice of the pending suit.
