Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation has described the ‘Sex for Grades’ scandal in West African universities as ‘shocking’.

Fani-Kayode said this while reacting to the video of UNILAG lecturer, Boniface Igbeneghu, a former sub-dean of Faculty of Art and head pastor of local Foursquare Gospel Church caught on camera allegedly demanding sex from a lady

His advances were captured in a 13-minute video by BBC Africa, courtesy of an undercover journalist, Kiki Mordi, who disguised as a 17-year-old admission seeker.

Fani-Kayode, speaking on the development, said lecturers’ demand of sex from students was the reason most Nigerian parents send their children to study outside the country.
