Ahead of the One Africa Music Festival, Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has been chosen as the event’s headline sponsor.
With this development, Air Peace will fly artistes billed to attend the event which holds in Dubai between November 14 and November 16 free of charge.
Artistes enjoying this free trip include Wizkid, Burna Boy, Teni, Davido, Tiwa Savage, 2Baba, Jah Prayzah, Akothee, Betty G, LIJ Michael, and Nhatty Man. Others are Nandy, Diamond Platinumz, Harmonize, Eddy Kenzo, Souhila, The Ben, Dj Cuppy, Dj Xclusive, Dj Obi, and DJ Spinall.
The Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, said that he is diverting its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by partnering with ONE Africa Music to showcase Africa to the world.
“We believe that the artistes represent future Nigeria and the earlier we get it right, the future of our youth is assured,” Onyema said.

“To boost tourism in our country, we are moving about 437 people for free to Dubai. It is something we are doing with so much joy and we are not being forced to do it. Air Peace is always willing to be partnering with great projects, especially in Nigeria. We want Nigeria to be one and our diversity should be our strength.”
The three-day event will kick off with a welcome party and One Africa Global Summit on November 14, while the D-day is for concert and an official after-party. Twenty four people stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai by registering at www.oneafricamusicfest.com.
The organizer, Paul Okoye, said the concert aims to promote the sense of Pan Africanism and position Africa as the perfect destination for investment. He also said the festival will promote the understanding of Africa’s uniqueness to the world.
