A 23-year-old Ahmed Abdullahi has allegedly stabbed his step mum to death with a knife.
The sad incident happened in Agyaragu area of Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State on Friday night.
Eyewitnesses’ account revealed that he borrowed a knife from the neighborhood and cut her on the leg.

She was said to have run out of their house shouting for help when he hit her to the ground after which she fell to the ground in panic.
Our source narrated further that he took his time and slit her throat.
She was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Similarly, the mother of the alleged suspect ran away to safety when children of the deceased reportedly armed themselves and wanted to avenge the death of their mother
Police Public Relations Officer, ASP, Ramhan Nansel confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and an investigation had begun.
