Further details reveal that the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, officially announced the commencement of the distribution on Thursday. To qualify for the discounted price, eligible individuals must present a valid Nigerian Identification Number.

Adeniyi emphasized that customs officers are strictly prohibited from participating in the sales process, and beneficiaries are sternly warned against any attempts to resell the food items.
