The 82 Division of the Nigeria army, Enugu has organized a one day Media Relations summit intended to sensitize the media and members of the public on the activities of the Nigerian army in the South East.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu and signed by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Aliyu Yusuf, the army said that the one day media summit is in line with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Gen. Tukur Buratai.
It noted that the summit is aimed at ensuring excellent civil- military relations, adding that it will have areas of responsibility covering Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, and Imo States.

“with the summit, we hope to adequately inform, educate and carry members of public along on the activities and operations of the Army across Nigeria especially in the South East zone” it said.
The summit will also feature a lecture by Prof. Sunny Udeze of the Department of Mass Communication, Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
The Summit which will hold at the 82 Division Auditorium, is built to take place on Thursday, October 31.
