Bournemouth Shocks Manchester United, Ends Three-Game Winning Run

Manchester United suffered a shock defeat against Bournemouth in Saturday’s Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Both teams started the game like a house on fire as the Red Devils had the first chance to take the lead in the seventh minute only for Andreas Pereira’s shot to fail to hit the target.

A few seconds later United’s Fred low drive shot also failed to threatened the Bournemouth goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale.

The host was presented with a goal-scoring opportunity in the 16th minute but Harry Wilson’s shot was blocked by Man United defenders.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 45th minute of the first half as Joshua King put the host in the lead with a brilliant finish to send the home supporters into a frenzy.

At the resumption of the second half, the host continued from where they stopped in the first half as they mounted pressure on Man United’s defense only to be denied by the goalkeeper, David De Gae.

Pereira could have leveled parity in the 64th minute but his shot was blocked by Bournemouth defenders. The Red Devils’ control of possession failed to shield a positive result as the host defended brilliantly.
