Anambra Speaker Urge Legislators To Always Enact Quality Laws

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Victor Okafor at plenary after welcoming Members of the State Assembly from recess, commended Lawmakers for utilizing the period to reach out to their various Constituencies through various means, and for upholding the mission and vision of the 7th Assembly so firmly.

Okafor  tasked Lawmakers on need to always enact laws that would lift the state to greater heights and enjoined them to be good Representatives of the new face of democracy.

The speaker on behalf of the state Assembly condemned the fire outbreak on Saturday morning, November 16, that led to the death of the parish priest of St. Peter Claver Parish, Nnewichi, Nnewi, Rev. Fr. Edmund Nwagbara.

He also commended the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano in mapping out measures to unmask root cause(s) that led to such an ugly incident and prayed that the soul of Rev. Fr. Nwagbara and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God to have eternal rest.
