A Twitter user by the username @GospelJosiah has gone to the social media platform to share a story of an intended couple who collected money from friends and family members for their supposed wedding and afterward abscond.
He said:
This December things are happening sha, human beings are wilding.
Gist reaching me right now is that this intending couple planned wedding, sold asoebi (25k), had like 5 committee of friends, they raised over 4.5m for the marriage only for the “couple” to Japa 2days to the wedding.
The “couple” collected the raised money about a week ago and they have japa.
They are not even dating. They never dated, they’ve just collected money for audio wedding.
Both parents & friends are devastated.
