There seems to be a war of words between the spokesman of Nzuko Ora Nnewi, Sir Augustine Ikeh and Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Ikemba Igbo Amichi over Ikedoji threat to evict erring members who decides to address the Senator’s response in a language he viewed as insulting.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah had earlier addressed Ndi Nnewi in Nzuko Ora WhatsApp group where he expressed his disappointment from some sections of people on the needless controversies being generated on his conferment of Ikemba Igbo Amichi award conferred on him by the Traditional Ruler of Amichi kingdom.
Senator Ubah had in his reaction monitored by Anaedoonline wrote that he will not “belittle himself to join issue with those who are promoting hate against him in order to seek cheap attention to their new pay masters and will not indulge with unnecessary attention to this little issues in his very first title acceptance in over 25 years of active involvement in public life.
If I tell Nnewians reasons for these elements objectives and their missions, I’m pretty sure this platform might collapse today but will rather prefer to leave it till when future will expose and address their pitiable agenda .
Please let it be known that I’m not desperate and if I was, I would have had over 200 titles of myself since over 25 years. I advise that social media is a small place and things said are kept for future references.
Anyone is free to accept any title outside Igwe nnewi, any of the obi’s in Nnewi Or outside Nnewi agreed, Igwe Nnewi also agreed to honor him with same IKemba before “ndi aghauno” used it for political advancement ( I will not go far from here).

Finally my love and aspirations for Dim Odimegwu ojukwu’s legacy has endured me to be associated with this my first title likewise those that are answering Ebebe chukwu uzo after me”.

Shortly after his reaction, the Publicity Secretary of Nzuko Ora Nnewi, Sir Augustine Ikeh threatened to evict any person who decides to address the Senator’s response in a language he viewed as insulting.

However, it seems Senator Ubah who was supposed to be the beneficiary of Ikedoji’s supposed threat advised him never to arrogate power of eviction to himself and be cautious of his actions because nothing stays forever.

“If you’re flexing muscles with a platform of 253 people as a PRO of Nnewi I wonder what you will do or be if given a higher responsibility. I pray your conscience guides you well” stated the Senator.

However, it seems Ikedoji didn’t take the advice by the Distinguished Senator well and in what seems like a war of words between the duo, advised the Senator to look for another platform other than the Nzuko Ora WhatsApp to settle his scores.

In response, Senator Ubah said to Ikedoji ” If you try it with me you will get what you’ve been wishing for sometime now… I am defending myself here even without minding being a Senator but if you Synod (Ikedoji) try to push more than your luck in evicting anyone, I repeat anyone under this reference point, you will know you are only serving Nnewians and you don’t own us.

Interestingly, to show that he isn’t afraid of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, Ikedoji evicted two members in the Nzuko-Ora WhatsApp group, Ebuka Onyekwelu, the publisher of Kaluza.com and Mazi Ifeanyi Nwosu of Onyeije Media who had a minor disagreement and differences about the issues.

Giving his reason for evicting them, Ikedoji stated “I will reinstate the duo after 24 hours. I do not want others to think I chickened out after a cheap threat. Be all guided. Nnewi is bigger than all of you, be you a Senator or Representative”.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is yet to respond to Ikedoji’s action as at filling this report.
