Irate Youths Destroy Man’s House For Killing Cousin In South Africa

Youths of Amorie village in the Uburu community in the Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State on Wednesday set a house belonging to one Nwazugbo Nsofor ablaze.

A video footage had gone viral on the social media in the state showing how Nsofor stoned his cousin, Ife Odenigbo, to death in South Africa during a quarrel over an alleged unsuccessful business deal.

The footage showed the victim fell on the ground and died immediately .

Angered by the development, relatives of the deceased mobilised themselves and set the house of the suspect on fire, a community source told our correspondent .

Apart from setting the house of the suspect ablaze , the irate youths destroyed his property .

Nsofor hails from Etiti village in Ubulu community , the deceased hailed from Amorie village in the same community .

When contacted, the police spokesperson in the state, Orlando Ikeokwu , said the police had begun manhunt for those who set the house ablaze .

Concern Nigerians have continue to raise alarm over the recent killings. just recently,  Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have reportedly arrested a middle-aged woman for allegedly killing her husband by squeezing his manhood.

The suspect, who was identified as Eki Ekhator, was said to have committed the act in Ukhiri community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was learned that the woman‎ always fights with her husband any time he returned home late.‎ On this particular day, as usual, she quarreled with him after accusing him of infidelity.

According to a source, on that fateful day, the deceased slapped his wife after a quarrel, and the woman went for his trousers and firmly held onto his manhood.
