Anambra Hoteliers association, today February 27th 2020, declare their intention and readiness to partner with Innoson motors.
The hoteliers who turned out in their large numbers were accompanied by Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Culture And Tourism, Mrs Sally Mbanefo and Commissioner For Youths Empowerment And Creative Economy, Mr. Afam Mbanefo and were welcomed by the Chairman Innoson Group, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso) OFR, in his factory, located in his hometown, Nnewi.
Chief Chukwuma while showcasing the various cars being manufactured, assured hoteliers that the vehicles have two years guarantee with free servicing if being bought. He also promised them that it will be sold in a good price.
Speaking at the tour, Chief Chukwuma took his time in explaining the various department and their functions.
In his words, ‘The essence of this meeting is to introduce these vehicles to hotel owners in Anambra’. The federal government in supporting local manufactures has assured organizations and individuals who are willing to buy home made products to do so without any doubt. I introduced these concept to Ndi-Anambra so that they can benefit from it and also assist them in running their business’.
The business mogul also expressed satisfaction on the level of growth the hotel sector has attained under the government of Governor Willie Obiano, who have received many national awards due to his performance, urging them to maintain the tempo.
He concluded by commending the leadership style of Governor Willie Obiano stating that if other governors can emulate Obiano style of governance, Nigeria will be better than it is now. ‘Anambra is not among states getting the highest revenue from the federal government, but the state government have judiciously managed the little they have’.
Commissioner for Diaspora affairs, culture and tourism, Mrs Sally Mbanefo on her part said ‘Anambra state government is dedicated in improving the hospitality in the state’. We want hoteliers to be more successful that is why we always come up with ideas that will improve the standard and mood of operation.
‘Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), is Nigeria First Indigenous Auto Manufacturing Company and we are happy that he is our own. These partnership will be successful because we want our hotels to be world class standard. we already have good relationship with hoteliers and we are ready to do more’.
Commissioner for Youths Empowerment and creative Economy, Mr. Afam Mbanefo while speaking, urged hoteliers to grab these partnership with both hands.
According to him ‘This will create alot of employment for the youths in the state. Innoson groups is a brand that has proven its quality and these partnership will go a long way in strengthening the hospitality in the state.
Managing director Viko Nigeria, Mr Chidi Lucky Kanu while commending the contribution of Innoson in the economy of the state advised hoteliers to make use of the opportunity through keying into the idea of buying IVM motors.
in his words’ The idea is to make customer service, key to the hospitality industry in Anambra state. With the provision of these vehicles by Innoson, the gaps in customer service especially the transport department will be reduced. if three hundreds hotels buy one vehicle each, it means three hundreds youths who will be driving those cars will be taken off the streets’.
It will be recalled that in trying to upgrade and create the best standard of hospitality, Anambra state government commenced inspection, registration, food and hygiene check, security check in more than five hundred hotels in the state so as to regulate the activities and mood of operation.
Chief Executive Officer Wintess Garden Hotels and Suit, Awka, Mr. Chuma Obi While speaking to journalist said Anambra hoteliers as a group has resolved and concluded that IVM will be patronized.
One of the executives of Anambra Hoteliers, Ogunsola Olajide Taiwo added that IVM is a tested and trusted brand and that this partnership is one of the good things that has happened to the association.
