The Nigeria Army resource center of the Strategic Management And Policy Studies (Course 2) today, Thursday March 5th 2020 paid a familiarization visit to IVM Factory in Nnewi, the hometown of the CEO of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing CO. Ltd.
The Chairman, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma (OFR) together with his executives welcomed the visitors who came on an excursion and a familiarization visit.
Team Leader, Major General Jude Egbudom who led the team commended the chairman of Innoson Group for the great work he is doing. He also stressed the need that as an employer, he has reduced the rate of unemployment in the country which has also reduce pressure from government.

In his words ‘We have come to learn from the masters’. He urged Nigerians to patronize Innoson whose product has been tested and trusted.
The Army officers who are who are undergoing courses on Strategic Management And Policy Studies, comprises of senior officers both in the armed forces and other sister military agencies who are made up of officers who are almost at the end of their service.
Chief Chukwuma while touring with the officers around the factory explained to them the various departments and their functions.
The CEO took them to departments such as Treatment section, electrical section, Interior section, Sprying section, engine/gearbox assembly section, Trim line section, AC section, Final inspection section, etc.
CEO of IVM while speaking to the officers thanked them for identifying with his company, stating that he has also learnt from them and will implement their suggestions and advice.
According to the boss, ‘We are not yet like Toyota and Benz but we are getting better. I have already told the Nigerian Army that I am ever ready to partner with them.
Major General Egbudum on behalf of his team presented an award to Chief Innocent Chukwuma.
‘We appreciate you for receiving us, and bringing out time from your tight schedules to take us round, we are very proud and privileged to witness for ourselves how the manufacturing of cars are been made. Egbudum stated
Chief Chuwuma after receiving the award pledged his support and readiness to patronize and partner with any of the officers who will eventually go into vehicle business.
On behalf of the participants (Nigeria Army) , Major General I.M Obot in appreciation, thanked IVM Boss saying ‘We are proud of you and your achievement. Its a privilege to witness how cars are being manufactured. we have learnt a lot and have witnessed what we are being taught.
