An armed detachment of the Department of State Services (DSS) operatives has arrived the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The armed and masked operatives, who arrived the secretariat in a commando-like style at about 4:24pm in power bikes, blocked the road cutting through the secretariat.

Though the mission of the DSS operatives is not known, it may not be unconnected to the report that the suspended National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiohmole is expected at the secretariat, which has been under lock down since Wednesday evening following an FCT high court judgement suspending him.

Justice Lewis Allagioa, who gave the ruling on Thursday also ordered the police and the DSS to provide security for Oshiomhole to enable him to resume office.

The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been taken over by policemen, following a high court ruling that suspended Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of APC.

This is coming on the heels of an earlier judgement of the federal high court in Abuja, which suspended the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Jabi, Abuja, on Wednesday, ordered an interim suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

Delivering a ruling on an application for an interlocutory injunction, Justice Danlami Senchi, ordered Oshiomhole to remain on suspension pending the determination of the main suit.

The court held that the party wrongfully continued to retain him as its National Chairman while he is under suspension as a member of the party.

The judge, therefore, ordered the chairman of the APC to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the party and directed the party to cease acknowledging him in that regard.

He also ordered the party to deny him access to the party secretariat. Which prompted the Nigeria Police to take over the APC Secretariat building.
