In recent news, a newborn baby was born pregnant with her twin. According to the mother Mrs. Oratile Sagele, she said it all started when she was 5 months pregnant with her daughter, she went for an ultrasound scan then the doctors said her baby had a massive mass in her stomach, so she was advised to see a specialist, which she did.

When she went to see the specialist, it was confirmed that there was a huge mass in her newborn baby’s stomach and she was booked for a check-up every month to see if the mass will dissolve on its own or continue to grow.

She continued going for the check-up until she was 9 months into the pregnancy. When it was the first week of her 9 months, the doctors told her to go for a Cesarean Section because they didn’t know the condition of the baby as at then.

she was operated on the 15th of June 2017 and her daughter Yamasa Sagele was born with a huge mass in her stomach.

Even after her birth, the doctors still couldn’t identify what the mass contains as it was affecting her right kidney and liver, so she was booked to be operated on when she is a month old.

When she was one month old, her mother took her for the operation and they couldn’t believe what they saw, it was her twin growing inside of her. Medically it is called “fetus in fetu”.
