Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state has appointed Interim Management Committee chairmen for the 27 Local Government Areas of the state .
The Secretary to the state government, Cosmos Iwu, announced this in a statement in Owerri.
Remember the Imo State House of Assembly had urged Gov Uzodinma to appoint the transitional chairmen to manage the affairs of the local governments in the face of the corona virus pandemic while the governor gets ready for proper elections to elect duly elected local government bosses.
The names of the new LGA bosses are as follows: Barr Emmanuel Njoku – Aboh Mbaise, Chief Larry Obinna Chikwe – Ahiazu Mbaise, Chief Francis Onyeberechi – Ezinihitte Mbaise, Barr Chidi Okechukwu – Ehime Mbano, Hon CC Ihejirika – Obowo, Olemgbe Chike- Ihitte Uboma, Mrs Nkechi Mbonu – Okigwe
Others includes: Charles Matthew Ijezie – Onuimo, Chike Okoroike – Isiala Mbano, Gloria Mbadiwe – Ideato North, Ambrose Nkwodinmah – Owerri Municipal, Mayor Obinna Nweke – Ngor Okpala, Chukwuma Ikeaka – Ideato South, Enyioha Okechukwu – Owerri West, Frank Onyejiaka – Nkwerre, Kenneth Ukah – Isu, Emeka Iheanacho – Njaba, Cosmas Iwuagwu – Nwangele
The remaining are: Mrs Ifeoma Ndudu – Orlu, Hon Uchenna Osigwe – Orsu, Nze Nyerere Ogbonna – Oru East, Hon Emma Mazi – Oguta, Amadioha Marcel – Ohaji/Egbema, Willie Okolieogwo – Oru West, John Eke – Mbaitoli, Engr Lams Ibe – Owerri North and Mr Tony Jude Iwuamadi – Ikeduru.
