Man Utd, Tottenham Join Mike Maignan Transfar Race

Spurs’ Paulo Gazzaniga failed to set the world alight also recording just two clean sheets in the 18 Premier League games in which he replaced Lloris and it seems fans are beginning to feel it is time for a change between the sticks.

According to LeSport10 Mourinho has identified Maignan as a top summer transfer target and a suitable replacement for Lloris.

The Lille ace might be the best option for the Spurs boss, having kept five clean sheets in seven games for a side sitting fourth in Ligue 1.

Maignan was voted the best keeper in the French top flight for the 2018/19 campaign and earned his first France call-up for the Euro 2020 qualifiers last year.

After an impressive run last season, Lille valued the 24-year-old at £31m.

The Frenchman is also hot on the Red Devils’ transfer radar and they were linked with the Lille stopper last summer.

United will be eyeing an alternative in case they lose David De Gea, 29, this summer.
