Coronavirus: Innoson Distributes Over 1000 Bags Of Rice To Nnewi Residents

Nigerian Billionaire Businessman and Auto-Manufacturer, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso), has distributed over 1000 bags of rice to the less privileged in Nnewi and environs to help cushion the effects of coronavirus lockdown.

Presenting the bags of rice today, Saturday 11th, April 2020, on behalf of Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, Mr. Austin Manuel said that the distribution was part of many Innoson’s contributions towards alleviating the effects of COVID-19 lockdown.

Mr. Austin Manual urged all stakeholders within and beyond Nnewi, to support government efforts in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.

He advised the President-Generals who are representing their different communities in Nnewi, to ensure that the bags of rice is properly distributed to the less privileged.

Applauding Chief Innocent Chukwuma, on behalf of Nnewi Community, the President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Chief Sir Ugochukwu Udemezu (Ifeneti) appreciated Innoson for his kinds gesture, noting that the bags of rice will help cushion the effects for the less privileged.

According to him, the distribution of the rice has shown once again the love Chief Innocent Chukwuma has for his people.

He urged other stakeholders and privileged individuals in Nnewi to emulate Innoson and replicate the same for their communities in this trying period.

The bags of rice were evenly distributed to Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim, and Nnewichi, at the palatial residence of Chief Innocent Chukwuma in Uru, Umudim Nnewi.

Those present during the distribution include, Vice President Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Sir Fabian Obi, the Secretary-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Barr. Obinna Ubah, the President of Uruagu Community, Chief Charlie Nwoye, the President of Nnewichi Community, Hon. CY. Okolo, and other community leaders and Nzuko-Ora Nnewi executive members.
