A little baby has been picked up by a Good Samaritan after being abandoned by her mother who says she cannot take care of her anymore. The baby whose age is undisclosed is said to go by the name purity. Onlookers say the baby is too beautiful to be abandoned by her mother.

However, her mother has dropped a note indicating why she abandoned her own child. In the note, she states that the baby’s father is not forthcoming with assistance financially and she is incapable to fend for the child further.

“I have reached a point where I have to abandon my daughter. I have not received any support from the father or family. I am a poor person & I hope a good Samaritan will adopt her. Her name is Purity. God bless you” the mother of the abandoned baby wrote.

Anaedoonline gathered from an unconfirmed report that the mother who identified herself as Ruth has been found and reunited with her daughter and well-meaning Nigerians have supported her to sustain mother and child.

Unlike Nigerians who are quick to condemn and judge a mother who abandons her baby, the note attached has brought lots of pity to the lady as people clearly understand her reasons and her inability to take care of her child.

Ladies have been advised to be sure of a sustainable means of income before getting married or having a child. Children are gifts from God, however, if a gift is gotten at a place it cannot be maintained it will turn to a burden. Men are breadwinners; a woman too should have a means of income to sustain herself and her child (Children) in case of any form of eventualities.
