At least one person has been killed in a fuel tanker explosion on Friday near Oando filling station at Obalende area of Lagos. The tanker was said to be carrying 45,000 liters of Premium Motor Spirit.

Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the fire services are battling to put out the fire.

This comes after an NNPC filling station went up in flames at Ogba area of Lagos earlier in the week.
