Murder: Man Kills His Brother In Abia State Over Mango

One Mr. Chinaedu from Obingwa Abia state has allegedly murdered his brother, Mr. Solomon in cold-blood because Mr. Solomon’s son went to his house to pick some mango fruits.

Report has it that Mr. Chinaedu, out of his long breeded hatred for his brother’s family flogged the little boy mercilessly to the extent that the boy fainted and was unable to go back to their house.

This is how he lured Mr. Solomon to his house who, instead of rescuing his son, got murdered.

Eye witness report says that, Mr. Solomon, on his way taking his son back to his own house after asking Mr. Chinaedu why he got the boy flogged in such a manner, Mr. Chinaedu went inside his room, picked a cutlass and rushed after Mr. Solomon.

Before Mr. Solomon could turn back and realize what was happening, Mr. Omeonu had already given him a deep cut behind his neck and he slumped and died instantly.

This incident happened at Mgboko Umuorio Community in Obingwa LGA of Abia State.

Ekerenyo OCS visited the scene of crime and took Onsongo’s body to the Nyamira County Referral Hospital morgue.

The suspect, Mamboleo, has since been arrested and is being held at Ekerenyo police post. Police say investigations into the matter have commenced.

This incident comes a month after a similar occurrence was reported in Kegati Village in Kisii County.

On March 8, a 35-year-old man from Kegati hacked his elder brother to death over claims that he had a sexual relationship with their biological mother.

Neighbours alleged that the victim had been engaging in sexual acts with his mother for a long time and that it was an open secret.
