Orizu, Ugwuanyi & 4 Others Suspended From PDP, Nnewi Zone (Video)

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Nnewi North Local government area has suspended six(6) members of the party for gross misconduct and flouting of the PDP constitution.

The suspension details which was made known to anaedoonline.com through a press release by the publicity secretary of the party dated 12th June 2020, stated that the six members were found culpable of soliciting funds on behalf of the party which is not their responsibility.

Press Statement on Suspensions from the Party

After preliminary hearing by the ward executives of Otolo ward 1, Otolo ward 2 and Umudim ward 1 on reports of various activities inimical to the progress of the party, especially on soliciting for funds on behalf of the PDP and flouting the provisions of article 58 (1), (b), (c), (d), (f), (h), (I) and (j) of the PDP constitution, the respective ward executives have suspended the following:

1.Eugene Okonkwo Nwizugbe
2.Edwin Chukwuma (aka~ Oyinatumba)
3.Afam Orizu
4.Tempest Mike Udeze
5.Chinedu Orizu
6.P. C. Ugwuanyi

The above is in line with the relevant provisions of the PDP Constitution on disciplinary procedures.

Accordingly, these individuals being ordinary members have been referred to their respective Ward Disciplinary Committee for appropriate action in line with the provisions of the constitution of the PDP.

In the meantime, the individuals have ceased temporarily to be members of the party and cannot attend or participate in any legitimate activity/function of the PDP.
