Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hinted that he would love to extend his contract with Arsenal after he blinked during an Instagram live video with his brother Willy.

The Gabonese striker has been continuously linked with a move out of the north London club in recent months but he has given Gunners fans a glimmer of hope.

Aubameyang answered a supporter’s request which has sparked off reactions from the club’s faithfuls about extending his deal with Arsenal.

It is understood that the former Dortmund striker will be placed on a £250,000 weekly deal with negotiations believed to be at an advanced stage.

The 31-year-old appeared with his brother Willy in an Instagram live video which was posted on Twitter.

In the video one Arsenal fan urged him: “Blink if you’re gunna sign.”

And the forward who has scored 21 league goals with the Gunners in the Premier League winked leaving Arsenal to believe he is staying.

One fan said: “Done deal.” A second added: “It’s the hope that kills ya.” Another said: “LOLLLLL THE WAY HE BLINK LMAOOOO.” On the other hand, one simply stated: “He’s staying.” Another happily posted: “This is so Arsenal, and I love it!”

Aubameyang has continued his brilliant form this season as he is in line to retain the topscorer’s award in the English elite division.

Meanwhile, Anaedoonline.com had earlier reported that Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been enjoined by his father to commit his future to the Gunners by signing another deal with the North London giants.

The future of the Gabonese striker has been under serious uncertainty as he currently has one more year left on his deal and has emerged as transfer target for Chelsea and Barcelona.

Even Manchester United and Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring the situation of Aubameyang at Arsenal with the aim of signing him.
