Less than a year since he dropped his last album, African Giant in 2019 all the planets have once again aligned for Burna Boy as he drops a new album “Twice As Tall”.
The timing of this new album nothing short of poignant. Burna Boy has rapidly become one of the leading Afrobeats hit makers coming out from Nigeria with hits like “ye” “On the Low” and others. No wonder Beyoncé gave him a whole track o the Lion King album last year.
Twice as Tall album was produced by Puff Daddy “Diddy” the music mogul who produced most of Notorious B.I.G’s album. “He, as every artist, he wants his music to be heard by the world — He doesn’t care about crossing over. You know, he’s not trying to get hot. He’s not, like, ‘I want to be a big pop star’ — he’s already a star. He wants his music to be heard, his message, his people.” Diddy said
“Twice As Tall is the album about a period of time in my life. It’s the album about the struggle for freedom,” Burna Boy said in a statement. “It’s the album about life in general, real life, good times, bad times, happy times, sad times, great times.”
The album has tracks like “23” “Monsters You Made” “Naughty by Nature” “Wonderful” which already has a visual and others.
