Patoranking: Age and background
Patoranking was born as Nnaemeka Patrick Okorie in in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town on May 27, 1990. He is originally from Onicha in Ebonyi State. He attended Citizen Comprehensive College in Epe, Lagos and later enrolled at Jibril Martin Memorial Grammar School in Iponri. Unfortunately, he couldn’t further his education after completing his secondary school education. HE started doing many odd jobs like selling in Lagos traffic, mixing cement for construction workers and working as a waiter in Sweet Sensation Opebi Lagos. Patoranking would work as a waiter in the day, but perform in street carnivals at night. Seeing that the musical talent is in him, he started collaborating with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone. He eventually signed a record deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing “Up in D Club”. He floated with Timaya’s record label “Dem Mama” records where he released the single that shot him to fame “Alubarika”. The singer is 30 years old.
Music
Patoranking ha released two studio and a dozen singles. He released the track “Girl O” in 2014. The song was produced by WizzyPro. The song was an instant hit and Tiwa Savage joined him in the remix. He also joined in the track “Murda” which featured Sheyi Shay. The singer released tracks like Daniella Whine and My Woman My Everything. In 2016, he released his first album “God Over Everything”. The album debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart. He released his second studio album “Wilmer” in 2019.
Daughter
Patoranking has a daughter named Wilmer. When he is not on tour, he loves to spend quality time with her daughter. Her second studio album is named after daughter.
