Relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a move for former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor this window.

The Baggies currently sit at the base of the table with zero points after two rounds of matches since the league kicked off earlier this month.

And Slaven Bilic is hoping to give the ex-Spurs attacker one last opportunity to play in the English topflight.

Adebayor is clubless at the moment having parted ways with Paraguay club, Olimpia over coronavirus issues as reported by SunSport.

The publication added that the forward has been keeping fit in his home in Ghana, insisting he still has plenty to offer.

Sources say the Togo international is looking for a chance to score three more goals and join the club of players with a century of goals in the EPL.

During his stint at Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham, Adebayor scored 97 goals and 44 assists in 242 league appearances, and adding three more would give him the chance to reach 100 goals.

The 36-year-old would be a quality backup for West Brom coach if he decides to bring him before the close of the transfer window.

The Albion have failed to find the back of the net in their first two meetings due to the lack of firepower – hence, Bilic would want to add to his attack.

Fenerbahce might also be interested in the former Real Madrid star who is also being monitored by a few Italian clubs.

Adebayor won the Copa Del Rey title with Real Madrid during his short spell at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2011.
