Ifediaso @60: Committee Of Friends Organized A Surprise Birthday Party For Chief Innocent Chukwuma

An Icon in the person of Chief Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma (CEO, Innoson Group) was born today, 60 years ago. To mark his Diamond Jubilee year, a group of  Friends threw him a surprise party in his home state, Nnewi, Anambra State, yesterday October 1st, 2020.

The birthday celebration which was billed to host a few friends turned into a galore. Families, Friends, business partners and the crème de la crème in Nnewi and Anambra State came to felicitate with Chief Chukwuma. 

His bosom friend and former APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh and his beautiful wife, Dr. Prisca Umeh were present to celebrate with  the man of the moment. Chief Victor Umeh who was also the Chairman of the occasion extolled Ifediaso for his magnanimity, courage, shrewdness and his doggedness to excel despite all the challenges.

Chief Chukwuma, who spoke exclusively to anaedoonline.ng stated that he was pleased and happy to be 60 today. In his words, “I feel very happy today, 60 years is a big feat and I hope that everyone gets to this age and beyond. I am grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with me today, may God bless you all” he said. 

The event witnessed pre-recorded displays packaged by Freshminds communication which include a docu-drama presentation and birthday shouts to Chief Chukwuma from close ally, friends, his children and grand-children. The highlight of the presentation was the welcome address by Cornel Osigwe (the head of corporate communications at IVM group) titled “Why do we Celebrate”. Excerpt of the address reads; 

We are here to celebrate a man who put Nigeria on the map as a vehicle

manufacturing country. The first indigenous man to manufacture a vehicle

in West Africa, a feat which seemed impossible; but made Nigeria regain its

pride as truly the giant of Africa. Diamonds are Illumination.

This is what a few people had to say about Chief Chukwuma, Stephanie Chukwuma (Daughter in law) said he is an awesome father in law, cool and approachable. I wish him Long life and prosperity. 

Chinazom Chukwuma, “he is very funny and very supportive . He cheers me up when i am down, he is my biggest fan. I wish him a Happy Birthday and I pray he lives to see more of his grandchildren”.

Lady Ify Ofodeme, said he is an Icon, I appreciate his courage. He will grow to manufacture aircrafts  just as he did with automobiles. I wish him more beautiful years.

The event witnessed guests from all walks of life, politics, business etc, the list is inexhaustible but here are a few people who graced the event, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, Chairman, Rojenny Village, (Ogirisi Igbo), Chief Donny Anaetochukwuka and Nora Anaetochukwuka, Louis Carter Onwugbenu, Dr. Joe Odili Ugboaja(Chief, Medical Advisory Committee NAUTH), Dame Princess Esom Nwafor-Orizu.
