Wife of the Governor of Anambra State and founder of the charity-based organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano has said that she will continue to run her NGO and touch the lives of the people, especially the poor, at the end of the present administration.
Dr Mrs Obiano stated this at the Awka South Local Government Area headquarters, while kicking off of her 2020 tour of twenty-one local government areas of Anambra State.
The tour which has become an annual event, is an avenue for the governor’s wife to meet and interact with the people, especially grassroots women, on different socio-economic issues including health, career development, empowerment, agriculture, social and community development.
Addressing the people, Dr Mrs Obiano noted that she had put finishing touches on plans to make CAFE a lifetime charity organization that would continue to impact on lives in and outside of Anambra State.The governor’s wife who reminded the people that the coronavirus era has not gone yet, urged them to always abide by all the safety protocols against the virus.
She also appealed to parents to provide their children with facemasks before sending them to school, as well bottles of water and hand sanitizers.
Dr Mrs Obiano shall continue her tour tomorrow at Orumba North and South Local Government Areas.
