Nigerian winger Victor Moses has been excluded from Chelsea’s Champions League squad for the 2020-21 season.

The 29-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge after the expiration of his loan spell at Inter Milan last campaign.

Frank Lampard has made it clear that the retired Super Eagles attacker is surplus to requirement and made attempts to offload him before transfer deadline day but his efforts failed to materialise.

Danny Drinkwater is another top star axed from the 21-man shortlist for the continental championship scheduled to kickoff later this month.

Both Moses and the former Leicester City midfielder failed to secure moves away from the London club before the window closed.
