Obama Warns Democrats Ahead Of US Election

With campaigns and even preliminary voting already underway ahead of the United States, presidential poll, former President Barak Obama has sent a vital message to Democrat voters.

In a recent advert, the former US leader urged voters on the platform to join the millions of Americans in the voting exercise so that the party can secure an early win and sustain it till the actual election.

Obama advised the voters not to be reluctant to exercise their franchise, adding that the victory of the Democratic party depends a lot on their votes.

He told them that they should stop thinking the election is still far away when it is on already all over the country. Obama’s advice: “The 2020 election isn’t a few weeks away; it’s already here.

Millions of Americans are already voting; make sure you stand up and join them. “It’s going to be close. It could come down to a handful of voters just like you. So I’m asking you to bring this thing home. Leave no doubt. Vote early.”

The former president went on to say that being that there is a growing movement for justice, equality and progress on so many national issues, early voting is very pertinent. He said: “There will always be reasons to think your vote doesn’t matter that’s not new,”

“What is new is a growing movement for justice, equality and progress on so many issues. This really is a tipping point, and that momentum only continues if we win this election.”

Meanwhile, Joe Biden, the US Democratic nominee for the November 3 presidential election, had announced that the continuing fundraiser towards his White House bid raked in a record of N145 billion in September 2020.
