It was a night of star recognition as several men of honour were recognized and awarded by the distinguished Beverly Hills Club on Saturday, November 14 at their annual Presidential Night which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The event kicked off by 7 PM with an opening prayer/breaking of kola-nut by Crown Prince Barr. Obianefo Orizu. The event which had several notable dignitaries in attendance was blessed by Rev. Fr Uche Ibeabuchi. The president of the club, High Chief George Adinnu in his welcome address listed out the momentous achievements of the club before going on to presenting awards.

Mr. Cornel Osigwe
Mr. Cornel Osigwe is an outstanding vibrant young man whose giant strides in the world of media in South East, through Anaedoonline is remarkable, featured in Vanguard top Nigerian CEOs under 40. He has gone on to break more grounds with the recent launch of IVM Cruise a ride-hailing service, managed by Freshminds Associates. Hence, the award conferred on him by the prestigious Beverly Hills Club as a Celebrity Member.

He was also present at the event in the capacity of PA to Chief Innocent Chukwuma OFR, Chairman Innoson group of companies to receive his award as the Okpu Uzu 1 of Beverly Hills club.
Other notable awardees at the event include Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor member representing North constituency who was recognized for his remarkable feats since he assumed office.

Chief Dr. George Moghalu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) was also conferred with a special award.
The presidential night was a storm of High-calibre men and ladies including Chukwuma Soludo, Chief Lotanna Nnadi, president Panther’s sports club, and other distinguished guests/members of the club.
